Middlebrook at Monmouth has been a family run business since Bernard Silverstein put the first shovel in the ground to begin developing this site approximately 44 years ago in the year 1964. Mr. Silverstein, the owner and developer of the complex instilled the professionalism which after his passing has become the standard carried on by Mr. Silverstein’s two sons, Robert and Jack as well as their sister Debbie who acts as the rental manager.
Robert and Jack take pride in the family business that they have been running for close to 30 years now. The Silverstein motto has always been to give people more than they pay for and the family takes pride in having lived up to this creed.
In keeping with the idea that you should give back to the community that allows you to earn a living, Middlebrook Management helps support many worthwhile organizations, some of which are: The Ocean township Community Celebration Committee, the Ocean Township Schools PTA, Ocean Township Little League, Ocean Township Historical Society, Ocean Township High School Spartan Football, Ocean Township High School Wrestling, Ocean Township EMS, Oakhurst First Aid Squad, Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce, Ocean Township Fire Department and PBA Local 57, Special Olympics, Chabad House, March of Dimes, Jewish Family Services, the American Cancer Society, and Crohns & Colitis Foundation.
Robert, Jack, and Debbie take great pride in being able to honor their parents’ memory by maintaining Middlebrook in a manner that upholds the family tradition. Their office is on site so that they can be easily reached to help correct any problem a tenant may have, and to see that each family living at Middlebrook can have the peaceful enjoyment of their homes.
